Weekend Gaming Thread: Strange Coin

Before we get started, I wanted to bring to everyone's attention that Sad Banana will be playing Battlefield 4.
So with that out of the way, just got to 40 in Destiny and guess I'm on my way to doing Taken King stuff. I would assume since this game doesn't tell you crap.
Also some Battlefront.

The new dates were announced earlier through the game’s Twitter. Xbox One gets it first on January 28, a day early. PlayStation 4 and PC follow a day later on January 29, before it all winds down on Sunday, January 31.
All signs have been pointing towards a January launch for the beta, and although the confirmation wasn’t too surprising, it’s good to finally have official dates.
The beta will be available to those with pre-orders, but you can still register via the official site for a chance to get an invite.

How are you liking it? I have a friend trying to talk me into it and I really don't see the appeal from the videos I've watched.

Wife's 30th this weekend so going skiing.
Haven't been playing many games though lately. Not for lack of games, but I am kind of hitting a wall when it comes to picking them up after putting the baby to bed every night.

I like it fine enough, with very basic expectations. Nowadays I just consider the annual COD to essentially be an annual subscription fee, not a new game. So having said that, it's not exactly a game that's going to draw in people who weren't impressed at last year's game, or the year before that.
I wanted Battlefront to be my filler game this year, but it just didn't last for me.

Probably mostly Tales of Zestiria. Maybe some AC3 and Mad Max thrown in. I am going to try to dig through some of my back log before all the games start coming in April.
I gave up on trying to platinum the first Uncharted. I can't beat it on crushing.

I wasn't as big a fan as most people of BLOPS 2, and the videos don't help me feel any better about it. I loved AW, and don't mind the jumping, but it just doesn't seem appealing.
