I bought NBA 2k17 digitally and after a few weeks of playing, it started skipping a lot. I read online that it happens and the only way to fix it was to delete it and redownload it. I deleted it and redownloaded it and when I loaded the game, all files had been corrupted. Mycareer and myleague saves were all gone. I didn't lose too much work bc I've only had it since Black Friday, but just be careful. Don't want this happening to anyone else.

Did it fix the skipping?

If so, wouldn't that matter more than some game saves?

Not sure yet. I know it skipped once in the intro when the game comes on but that's the only time it did. I played 2 play now games with no skipping also. BUT the only time I ever experienced skipping before was in myleague offline. I haven't tried that yet since redownloading.

Did you put in a support ticket with 2k? I think they can recover corrupted my player files. Worth a shot.

I didn't. Didn't know you could do that. How exactly do you go about that?
