Its terrible, slow downs and even slower ups.

Only option in the newly developed area we moved. I'm counting my days until under option runs their lines.

I used the 18mb/s package at my old place. Works fine. You'll get some bad ping spikes occasionally and upload speeds aren't all too great. I'm on cox now, and I think it's better for what I'm paying

I had it for a couple of years and ended up ditching it for Cox. My main gripe was the interleaved connection which effectively doubled or even tripled my ping. Not a big deal unless you are playing highly-competitive FPS. Then it's fricking awful.

Also, I strongly suspect that AT&T throttles Youtube, notably anything in HD. I've never had a worse experience playing HD videos on youtube than with U-Verse. There are very long threads about it, but of course AT&T would never admit to it (I guess now it's legal, though).

However, one thing I can say is that in the 2+ years I had internet with them, I never once had an outage. For that reason, I still kept their TV service when I switched ISPs. (Shortly after that, though, there was an outage that lasted a couple of days. It was widespread, and they did give me $35 credit on my bill, but I would've been enraged had I still had internet with them at the time. I needs my internets.)

their prices are asinine

they still have 1.5meg for 19$? lol the low for 19bucks should be 5meg, at the least.

ATT could of crushed the cable companies, but they cannot help themselves from pissing people off, and raising rates.

The internet companies are bending us all over. we should be paying 29$ for 100meg, and 59$ 300ish for high end. For christs sake, 3rd world nations have better speed, and some get it free.

i told the lady that, when she called asking why i left them. i told them their pricing is from the 2000's. There shouldnt even be a 1.5 or 3 meg option

5-10 should be the cheap crap

Yes they are.

My ping is low to the ATT server at around 5-8ms, but outside that it is all the same.

Fckking bandwidth at the price points they offer are crazy expensive. I'm paying the same amount for 1/4, exactly 1/4 of my previous ISP's down bandwidth.

I'm so pissed I can't do anything about it until another ISP lays down lines in my area.
