Don't go with the 4gb 760, you're wasting money.

What's the rest of your build look like? I would get a used 290 or 290x

2) buy fx 8320/8350 for ~$150

I have an R9 280x and it's great. I recommend it but the 280 is solid as well.

Do what Blue said. Remember, I said your priority was GPU, but if you go too high-end with the GPU, you're not going to get everything out of it in some games because of your CPU. A used 8320 and used 7970/280x is a great combo. If you only want to pick one, get the GPU, but you are also in a rare position where you can make a worthwhile CPU upgrade without changing your motherboard.

I have an asus direct CUII TOP 280x I'll let go for $150 and a 7870XT for $100. Both used for less than 2 months

Sorry, forgot about this until just now.

No need for $500-600 for a CPU/GPU combo if you're just gaming at 1080p

Basically, buy the 280x BoogerNuts is offering.
