Just started the series. In the middle of the first game. Does it ever get any better or are they all pretty much the same? All I've been doing is dodging behind walls and killing the same villains and scaling towers.

Are there any main villains? This is getting old. Besides the graphics I'm not seeing any real enjoyment.

Feels like I'm playing a dialed down version of a modern warfare campaign except instead I am constantly comitting suicide trying to figure out which wall I can scale.

I disagree... Naughty dogs disappoints with this concept in Uncharted and delivers in The Last of Us. That's why I wanted to try Uncharted but it seems like most of this game is all the same and the story line is boring.. There is barely any chemistry between the players and absolutely no exploration which sucks.... Cuz there is absolutely no difference in playing the first 30 minutes of the game and playing through the rest.

I absolutely loved the last of us which is what I was hoping for in these games but it's all the same thing. Every time you turn a corner 10 guys come out and try to kill you.... It's the same thing over and over. No surprises.. You should be able to stealth your way through some parts or there should be more more storey in between chapters!

This game really sucks ! Every room you go into someone screams "here they come!" and you have to do the same shite you do from the beginning.. Kill 10 people and move on to the next room where someone screams " Here they come!" Hahaha!

Yeah I couldn't get more but four or so hours into the first one before I had to just put it down. I did watch other play through all of them though. The story is pretty enjoyable.

I'm as big a critic of uncharted as anyone but understand the time that drakes fortune came out. At the time that game was mind blowing. Also the relationships with the characters get better each game.

They get much more balanced after the first game. There's a lot more puzzle solving without waves of enemies and the stealth aspects improve. I played the fist game after having played 2 and 3, and I found it to be pretty lackluster due to the constant waves of enemies. I'm playing 4 right now and it's pretty great.

Honestly I can't stand that UC4 got the rave 9 and 10 reviews that it did. Was it a decent game? Yes. Was it more of the same: jumping from cliff to cliff, dodge and cover gun fights, some "puzzles" where all you have to do is turn cranks and stones and a mediocre story about some long lost treasure and a wild goose chase? Yes. It was. They are good for what they are but they are NOT special.
