Total War: Warhammer II

I'm a huge Total War fan, TW Warhammer 1 was my first Warhammer game that I ever played. I really don't care about the lore nor do I understand it. I've played Warhammer Vermintide and Dawn of War III, but these were solely because of the gameplay and again, not lore/plot related. I think TW Warhammer 2 is a great game, I just don't like the vortex/ritual crap in the campaign. I'll like it more if they make it a simple conquest campaign like traditional TW games. I have WH1 so I'm looking forward to the combined campaign map though.

I'm playing through my first campaign now, I imagine as DLC come see out you'll have more options for campaign options.

It seems really fast to already have a sequel out. Is there an explanation for why people should re-buy the game?

Not really no. The games themselves are great, but Sega is getting greedy. Look at how expensive the DLC was in the first game. Everything in II should have been in I.

There's more actual content in Warhammer II than any previous Total War game? I can understand the smaller faction list can make people think there's not much content, but far more goes into creating a faction for Warhammer than Shogun II or Rome II.
While I agree that the DLC is a bit expensive, it's gone on sale often and there's plenty of free DLC as well.
Personally, I love it so far. I just wish I had more people to play campaigns with.

It's closer to a standalone expansion than a completely new game. They used the second game to showcase a different part of the universe. They're going to integrate the two games together for a mega campaign of sorts.

If you own the first one that huge DLC will be free!
OMG...how far have we fallen as gamers...I already own something and I'm excited they're giving it to me for free...

It's going to be a patch.
Also, they have to create a different campaign and map to have the New World and Old World combined. It's entirely new.
