RNJ was not please with me this weekend. I had 3 exotic engrams drecrypt to a different class than the one I have over the weekend. Destiny said they had fixed that issue. RNJ don't give a shite about your updates

I am over 300 on all 3 characters and out of 25 or so 3oC I got 2 Exotics. One was a 310 Zhalo which I already have 3 of and the other was a 290 Gauntlet that went straight to the scrap heap.
My luck with 3oC sucks and I get mostly weapons. I guess it is good since I have 3 x Zhalo, 2x Invective, 1x Truth, Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo etc. But I need some 310 gauntlets and chest pieces.
Everyone complains about Alphi Lupi chest piece, but I have never had a 310 one..

Yea, the coins have been hit or miss. Make sure you wait like 5-10 minutes after using one up before popping the next. Most people seem to think that they have it a little delayed so you don't suicide kill bosses to keep getting them.
There is an easy guy to kill on the dreadnaught patrol. Go into the ship like you would be doing the Bond Brothers strike. You can jump through the closed door inside the ship, there is a hole at the top left of it. Run through there and in that room where there are like 20 Cabal, right before the final boss battle, there is a big guy you can kill real easy that counts for the coins. I've had some decent luck with him.
The Alpha Lupi chest is awesome. Love that thing. Xur has been selling the 310 recently. Get the engram from him (the year 2 engram, not the year 1 one). Good chance it will be a 310.

I get a 1 in 3 chance on three of coins. I just don't get on anymore since I have everything and don't care about IB.

I'm about a 1 in 8-10 on them. That is the biggest frustration in this game. I can put in just as much or more time into it, and get completely screwed on gear/weapons than someone who barely plays and is just "luckier". RNJ is just a cruel a-hole

Ultra knight rarely drops anything for me. I have better luck on mars killing the Taken Champion and popping a coin every other time or doing 3 strikes and using coin on third strike.

Mars Champion and Running consecutive strikes yields the best results. The templar looking dude strike almost always gives me a exotic.

Uh no. I have 4 Saint 14's 4 Alpha Lupis and 3 Ruin Wings. I have gotten 1 weapon engram and it was a suros.

Went a sweet 0-11 on coins tonight. So wonderful.
God I just want a good helmet and special. Still rocking a 297 helmet and 300 special. Everything else is well over 310.

Got another 310 Monte Carlo this morning. Probably going to keep this one as they are supposed to buff ARs I think.
