Depends if you want to play games as best you can on PS and especially the exclusives. I enjoy mine. Most games coming out have some kind of boost. Horizon is going to look amazing on it.

For me it was easy, especially when GameStop gave me $200 for the original. Overall it's just a much better experience, snappy UI, 4K HDR (the real game changer), most games run at a higher/more consistent frame rate, and at least for me it's much quieter than my original.

If you have a 4K TV I would for sure go with it over the original.

I've seen comparisons and the difference is very small, almost unnoticeable.

If you have a nice 4K HDR TV then yes, it is a big upgrade from the original in just about every area.

Most likely because you are looking at those comparisons through a screen that isn't HDR capable and doesnt do 4K. So yes comparison shots will be almost unnoticeable on a Non HDR 1080p screen.

That depends on your definition of "big upgrade"

2.5x the power and a current gen Polaris RX470 modified GPU inside. Big difference under the hood too compared to the OG PS4 with a modified 7870/GTX 660ti equiv.

I've seen reviews that the 4K has a terrible lag. Controller input to screen response is slowed. I'm going to wait it out. I have an original PS4. I may get a slim only for the dual band wifi card.

That's if you have a shitty 4K TV, so just don't be a cheap bastard when you pick out a screen. Otherwise the "lag" is no difference, and all games going forward will run better on the Pro.
