thoughts on COD black ops 2 and Ghosts

Just ordered both on amazon, ghosts was on sale for like $7. And I got back ops 2 for $14. I hear ghosts is pretty weak but I got both of them mainly for the campaigns. should I play black ops 2 first? do the campaigns play have any overlap? Also which has the better multiplayer?

I loved BLOPS 2. Not sure how strong the online multiplayer will be on either. Don't recall the campaigns

I found Call of Duty Black Ops II to be a return to form, I didn't care for Call of Duty: Ghosts at all.

I haven't played online since Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
An hour of Call of Duty:Ghosts campaign didn't make me want to take the fight any further than that.

Don't know about on PS3 but black ops 2 community is still going strong on the xbox. I doubt it is much different on the PS3.

Both campaigns are decent. I think I beat Ghosts in about 5 hours so there's not much value there but at $7 you can't go wrong.
Ghosts multiplayer is garbage.
Black Ops II multiplayer is excellent but I'll bet the people still playing are either gods at the game or trolling.

do i really just need to get the newest COD to get really a good multiplayer experience? that last COD i got right when it came out was Black Ops 1. and that was one of my favorites, other than MW2 of course, wish they would remake it so i could play that multiplayer

Black Ops II was my favorite game since MW2. The latest COD multiplayer is different that all of the past games. At this point if you tried to play you probably wouldn't have as much fun at first. There's a learning curve. I'd just stick to BO II and wait for III to come out.

Cool, how is the zombies in bo2? I wasn't a big fan of it in black ops 1, is it worth playing again?

If you didn't like BO1 zombies, I don't know how much you'll enjoy them on BO2. Tranzit was too complicated for me, and the others were too simple. I did enjoy the DLC map Buried though.

There is a reason Ghost went on sale for $30/copy new at gamestop 2 months after its release. Food for thought.

Black ops 2 is a good game. The only problem, is no scoping pansies who have zero ambition on playing the game, they just want to get a couple fakie, no look, no scope kills to put on youtube.
I was in a lobby for ground war and half the losers in the lobby had their youtube accounts in their Sig pics they created. And yes, all kiddies who no scope.
The no scpoing is worse than when it was the new cod.
