I couldn't do clear sky either until yesterday. I used to try it with 200k toughness, now I have 400k and 75% armor and it's pretty easy. You also need good teammates.

I realize that this thread is dead, but I just got gunned down by rouges with 205 and 184 gear score in the 1-160 bracket. Is there a glitch allowing this? I looked but couldn't find anything.

That's weird. It looks at your top rated gear and assigns you to the correct gear bracket. I haven't heard of this being an issue since the pistol fix

You can come in with better gear, have a under level 30 piece of armor, then find 214s from supply drops. It is difficult to find though

So, if I find some 214 gear and never leave the DZ, I can get over 200 and be in the 1-160? That doesn't seem right.

Yeah, but if you log out or fast travel you will be put into the correct bracket on returning to the DZ.
I have a setup for solely hitting dtech boxes and grinding DZ05-06 solo in the 160 bracket because very rarely do people venture up there. It is the fastest way to get funds for buying tools/electronics materials.
In a weekend I can get 3-4mil DZ funds

Purple/gold/teal sealed caches + playing 10+ hours a day over 3 days.
Yellow mobs are the ones that drop purple caches You should get 0-4 purple caches per landmark/boss area. In 160 that is 2-3k per purple cache. I only pick up caches/golds/teals

i still suck. tired of shooting lvl 32 with a water pistol

Until tonight I had never crafted a brutal/deadly weapon and I have only had 2 drop in game total since I bought the game. My first was a 163 MP7 with brutal deadly accurate from the DZ and my second was a 204 LVOA-C with brutal deadly stable from Falcon Lost.
I grinded all week, made 100 tools from my blue dtech reserves and bought 100 from the DZ05 vendor. Ended up making 30 augs and one of them had brutal deadly and a shite talent that requires 2579 electronics. But it has near max damage so I am not complaining. With my little 160DZ toon I do 100k crit headshots on elites, lol.
Still have 500 blue dtech so I guess I will save them for the update next week.

Yeah it is fun. Some of the new gear is cool like, fire crest gives you 100% reload speed

This thread has become depressing. I have the season pass. But, after reading posts for the last month, I've lost interest in the updates entirely.

Honestly the expansion is fun. I've leveled my gear score from 190 to 205 in about an hour and a half. It was refreshing.
