That's an easy enough claim to make.

Did you watch the end of the video and see the size of the universe? I think i believe him

He said in that video that its likely that 99.9% of the planets in the game will never be explored, so its very unlikely to run into another player or a planet that someone else has named and explored

And if/when you do it gives you a cool feeling, like you found something ultra-rare. I think the 99.9% number will be challenged though, I think he underestimates how dedicated and crazed gamers can be.

When he zooms out (and it KEEPS zooming out) you start to understand the scale of this thing.

Those comparing it to minecraft.... I'm a huge minecraft fan, this thing makes minecraft look like Rhode Island.

I wouldn't take the 99.9% literally

Apparently there are 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets to visit. 0.1% of that is 18,446,744,073,709,551. So you can probably take that literally.

It's basically like minecraft in space besides being able to build things. So if you're into minecraft than you'll probably like this.

One of the more odder descriptions I have ever seen. Building things is basically the point of minecraft.

Yea true but it has similiar features like mining, crafting, the generated world, trading, exploration, etc.

I want the game to finally come out so I can stop seeing you tell that story...

The 4 times I posted it? It's no different than the fanboys who jizz all over every thread started about "x" game.

OK, so that was not his vision for his game. You don't like it, don't buy it.

If you visit one planet per second it will take you 580,000,000,000+ years to see them all.

That 580 BILLION years

That is about 42 times the age of the universe.

Procedurally generated, though. I imagine you'll see enough design elements through normal gameplay to know what the rest of them look like.
