Tell me a game story more messed up than Last Guardian **SPOILERS**

I know there are plenty. I just need a palette cleanser.
First off, really enjoyed it. I'm used to the wonky controls of these games, so I was annoyed at times but could overlook it. Setting was really beautiful and not as washed out as Ico and Colossus were. Loved the narrative. Didn't completely spill the beans about what was going on but was enough to keep you from feeling lost in the narrative. Super annoyed at Trico at times. I love how they programmed him to behave just like a wild animal, but sometimes I just needed him to make the jump, not requiring me to jump around like an idiot pointing towards the ledge for him to get the hint. And come on, how many times did I need to feed him those barrels before he wouldn't stare at them suspiciously and take 5 minutes to finally eat them. But overall, very fun and cinematic experience.
SPOILERS
So kids are being kidnapped, swallowed whole, dumped into a processor, and turned into that glowing food that's int he barrels and everywhere else? Maybe it's my soft spot for kids, but I was kind of mortified when I realized what they were getting taken for. Oh, and their souls/spirits end up becoming the body-less knights, or as I found out through googling, the guardians.
I've said this before that I don't deal well with stories about babies and children suffering in games and movies, and I'm sure there are other narratives that make this look tame. But dammit
I'm still kind of cloudy on the Master of the Valley's end game by commanding the trico's to bring back kids to the nest. My friend said he figured it was protecting this ancient civilization, and processing kids to create it's inhabitants was it's way of keeping the populace up.
dammit

Is this your first Team Ico game?

Those first two were not even on the same level of WTF.
