Booted up Bloodborne because a friend asked me to play. I forgot how close I was to the ending. Took down Celestial Emissary and I have like 3 bosses left? (Mergo, Ebrietas, and the final?)

Ebrietas is optional but sounds right. I don't know what else you have done.

I've been at the door of completion for awhile now, but have instead decided I wanted to lose all sense of being and spend the rest of my life in the chalice dungeons.
Speaking if which, I have officially beaten the hardest section of the whole game, solo, and about 20 levels shy of the "recommended level"

I'll probably do the chalice dungeons when the DLC comes out this month. I started to do them but must've missed some stuff in the earlier levels bc I never had the required materials for the third one. I basically abandoned them imstead of backtracking.
