They announced at E3 that they were Minecraft would begin making worlds available even if the host was offline. I'm not sure if that's what's happening here or their timeline for that capability, but they did announce that it would be coming soon.

yea it's a subscription based version of what we're doing already.
right now these subscription based realms are only available for windows 10 and the pocket edition. once it comes to xbone, it'll basically be there for people who don't want to buy a seperate console like what we have. so they'll pay a fee each month to do the same thing. also they need to hurry up and make cross platform available between the various platforms

Supposedly thats next year.
I finished the blue and white building in the picture. Originally the two towers were going to be the same height but i ran out of materials so i made the right side a lot shorter. I like the way it looks though. Im adding floors in now. Its taking way more wood than i thought

I know the cross platform part. I haven't heard anything about realms on xbox. But if you can play with Windows 10 people and they have realms it would makesense for xbox to have them too

I took a look at your buildings, damn that's an insane amount of work. I toured some of the floors of the one with stairs, but I got stuck on one floor that had a creeper and a zombie and had to go back down. Creeper didn't blow up though
The massive minecart tracks look really cool too and should be very useful. Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I lost my minecart twice on them when it flew off before I could get on it, and I couldn't figure out how to stop once I did get on

I have to finish lighting up the building to stop stuff spawning in there.
And ha i didnt think about the first block on the minecart being powered sending it off before you can get in. I'll add a non powered one so it doesnt do that. As for the stopping ill eventually try and add some train depots or something

i tried to put torches on glass blocks, and it would not work. they change the way torches work now? u could stick them anywhere back in the days.

Yeah its offline.
Also i dont ever remember being able to put torches on glass. Try crouching and placing, i dont think that will work though
