Good enough. I'll try again tonight. I'm thinking I either need to x Ray something in that eastern cavern or break that glass tube. For whatever reason I was waiting for some beam to do it (like in other m the wave beam shoots through glass) but I'll try a power bomb

I want to say that once you get the gravity suit you keep exploring the underwater area. And after that, the suit lets you go into lava.

There's definitely a connection between brinstar/norfair area and the underwater area. I just need to find it and figure out from which side I can enter

My only frame of reference is other m so I was using that as the basic formula. I feel so stupid

Whenever I ran across that tube and had the power bomb, I could never resist destroying it, even before getting the gravity suit. And going into water without that suit really blows.

You can still blow it up and go down, but it will be like jumping through oatmeal. You can get out of it but you can't really explore much until you get the suit.

I beat the flying slug dragon, I ended up electrocuting him by complete accident.
Now I'm at Ridley, he kicked my arse a few times so I'm backtracking for energy packs. Pretty sure I already know where mother brain is
