Is it time to start ramping up the hype?

Last year was a huge disappointment.

Will the sale rebound? Will this year once again bring fear into the very heart and soul of our wallets?

I didn't find anything last year. Nothing to even throw my money at and hold for a rainy day. There are a few games on my radar this year.

Will the sale rebound or has the golden age passed? I've noticed a few big games over 2 years old still sitting at $50.00!

That's too frickin high!

Bring on Gabe!

I think the golden age has passed. They put more into their dumb sale games now that also make them money somehow.

I think a big factor is that once you discover Steam you go bananas on older games, and after that you purchase games as they release so there isn't much to buy.

I'll get something this year. A nice deal on GOTY Shadow of Mordor would be nice. For some reason I never picked that one up.

I don't see anything new on the horizon for me until ME4 which was bumped to 2017. Who the hell knows when Cyberpunk will finally come out.

So with nothing on the horizon, I'll grab something to mess around with this summer. I've got about 8 books to read before I can get back to gaming.

It's harder to find deals on games you'll want to play as Steam is infested with early access games and anime visual novels now.

I need the steam sale. I need to find something to jump into when I am done reading because I keep telling myself it might be time to check Runescape out again.

I've vowed to never get absorbed into a new MMORPG but I never said nuthin about getting sucked back into Runescape.

Nothing wrong with that, I spend a month every year in EQ.

I'm not real good with backing out of a game once I start. I could sink into Runescape and not be seen for a year.

Getting a new razor in 3 weeks.

Time to dust off the steam account.

I'm hoping to pick up a couple of the Final Fantasy steam games. Along with a few others I've been holding off on. Final Fantasy IX and VI mainly.

I'm a couple of Assassin's Creed games behind so hopefully there's a bundle for that.

Dragon Age: Inquisition, Divinity: Original Sin, and South Park: Stick of Truth round out the others I'll be after.
