So, I got all giddy at the idea of leaving the original map on this damn game and ran straight for the mission without taking much to back me up.
Needless to say, I failed. How long will it be until this mission comes back?
Or am I stuck in this hell hole forever?

The part where the soldiers are gonna blow the cement wall to escape the valley. I got eaten by tZed. It didn't kill me at first, just left me without a waist, but then I died when I was attacked from behind.
Now I'm back at the house, half eaten(but not dead), but it said I failed the mission. Any way to bring this mission back to the forefront?

All I take with me is some morphine (which I never use), thermite, my favorite gun and as much ammo as I can carry. Don't use a woman because she can't carry as much.

Just finished the mission. It ended up popping back up after a few minutes. Oddly enough, it was much easier with the proper firepower on hand.
And since the game is over and this thread is now pointless, I have to say the scariest part for me was going to get the little girls watch from the campground area. I grew accustomed to plowing bitches in my GMCs. Hand to hand combat with a crowd isn't really my style.

I maybe shot a gun 3 times the entire time I played. I always took two good hand-combat weapons(learned quickly that the first will break at the most inopportune moment) with a snack or two and a med of some sort.
ETA: And is there no way to get into the school? I really wanted to explore that

You have to finish at the right angle to see. Basically it is a bunch of destruction like the zombies are in the city.

Modern Pickup FTW. I am going to play through again, and try not to rely so much on the safety of the cars.
