Did some work last night and got to special mod battles. The drop rate is bullshite once you complete each level and get the guaranteed mod drop. I did 12 battles on levels I had completed and got ONE freaking mod drop.
My main 5 are all modded up and the mods are maxed to lvl 15. I sailed through the GW until the final fight, they upped the reward, but they also buffed the final fight, but I did finish it.

About 6 months, different builds are good for different things and groups of enemies, there is no god build to my knowledge.

Rey is God.
I have mine completely maxed on stars, gear, skills, and fully modded with t5 lvl 15 health mods. She has 40k hp/protection and crits for 40k+ with her leverage attack. She also has 231 speed.

The only thing I see that helps is to put similar ones together to link a better stat.

Haven't tried today. I was curious where some of the characters in the game came from but watching Clone Wars explained most of the ones I didn't know.
