I remember all the console peasants arguing against the PC master race by claiming you could buy one console and all the games would work without having to upgrade or change components. Looks like they don't even have that anymore.

Be cool though, mainly for PS VR it sounds, if it ever comes true.
I was just wondering earlier today how the PS VR would do, given how powerful of a PC VR it needs.

If a PS4 owner wanted the upgrade do they have to purchase a brand new system, trade in current PS4 w/discount applied toward new system, or sort of like the N64's Ram Pack just buy an accessory pack that is compatible with the tech upgrade?
If the 1st and this is meant mostly for the VR...it is like they wanted VR to fail.
$400 for VR plus purchase new system, probably with a limited library like kinect because publishers don't want to invest in it, while possibly charging more for games that probably will not look as good as their controller counterparts. I love the idea of VR and if done right would happily invest...However I have a feeling this is going to flop.
