Sony introduces a new wired controller for PS4 users...

There is nothing wrong with the PS4 controller. It is highly received. I prefer it more than any other controller because I like both of the analog sticks being at the bottom for shooting games. Which I mostly play.

If they would make a 1st party controller with off set thumbsticks I would hardly ever play my Xbox. i know I'm in the minority but symmetrical sticks make my thumbs hurt after a while. It will probably get worse as I age.

Wow. I'm still using my XBONE launch controller and have an Xbox 360 controller that is over 7 years old and going strong. My PS4 controller started falling apart after one year.

I like the ergonomics and feel of the PS4 controller more than the Xbone controller and it also feels more sturdy.
With that said, I have gone through 2 controllers because they either stopped holding a charge or refused to charge all together. Never had that issue with the PS3 controllers.
