So things seem to be going well with the Titanfall 2 Beta

From what I've been reading it sounds like they basically took out all of the things that made the first one fun.

its an Alpha Tech Test. True or Not, they say that its not the full game and all features are not implemented.
From what I understand that the beta is still months away so I am going to hold any and all judgement until then.
I guess I will be the odd ball and admit I liked it. Graphics are nice and I like being able to steal the power sources and put them in your Titan or give them to teammates to make their titans better.

The game comes out in late October. They can call it an alpha tech test but its a fricking beta test.

My bad. I thought for sure I read an article on Polygon about the beta for Titanfall 2 being Dec/Jan time frame. Clearly I was wrong and confused it another game.

This is a good point. Its a little late to make sweeping changes. That said, I haven't played it yet and probably won't before release. I LOVED the first game so here's hoping these issues get resolved. Won't hold my breath tho.

from people i know who tested, they said it's literally the same game as titanfall, with an inferior engine, yet again. And they for some reason liked Titanfall??!!??
So maybe the former IW guys weren't the WHOLE reason for COD4 and MW success. Or their magic has worn off.

It had its fans. Im one of them. I would rather play Titanfall than something like Black Ops, but thats just me.

It plays well.
People just have their momentum built up complaining about NMS and don't want to waste it. A tech test seems like the logical choice.

Titanfall seems like the antithesis of competitive FPS play. I did enjoy Titanfall 1 on the PC, but I never saw it threatening Call of Duty or Battlefield.
