I know platformers are dieing but this one is excellent. Great gameplay/graphics and just pure fun. It's said about alot of games but this one really is the closest thing to a Pixar movie that I have played. Also it's only $40, $31 with Prime or GCU.

Told my kids that we could get that game this weekend. Glad that it's a fun game

Very tempting. I never got to play Ratchet back in the day. Is this the PS4's sunset overdrive in terms of gameplay?

R&C is one of my top all time games. It's basically my first gaming crush

Will get at some point, just too many games vying for my attention atm

Sunset overdrive is a great game

But OG ratchet and clank is better than sunset overdrive

This is where I'm at but it's a quick playthrough so I may get it next week.

Just haven't been sold on Star Fox yet. Want to love it but haven't liked what I have been seeing.

I've only played a few levels because Ds3 is currently occupying my free time, but I'm really enjoying it. I never played any of the PS3 R&C's but I played all the PS2 ones multiple times.

Just download DS3 against my previous better decision not to at launch.

I will eventually play R&C but DS3 will probably occupy me for a while.

To me R&C games are the perfect rental.

It's something I'm going to get later on. Looks like a lot of fun though!

From what I've played of R&C....it's not all that special. The animation and everything is gloriously beautiful, but I find the game is just lacking in substance. Great for kids, for sure. But it really is super repetitive and I wouldn't play it again after the story mode was finished.

It's better than multiple Nintendo platformers I've played recently.

Surely you see the irony of your post as you can literally sub in any Nintendo platformer in there and make the same statement.

At least somebody got it.

Also don't know what challenging platformers he has been playing on the WiiU other than Shovel Knight.
