Which game were you more hyped for? I was lucky and had a three day weekend for the Skyrim launch. Skyrim was GOTY (imo) last year, and I am sure ME3 will be this year.

Which game were you more excited about?

Been playing MW3 and while I was good at Q3, I get raped most of the time in MW3. In Q3 there wasn't any leveling up so it was even ground, but in MW3 I must level up to even contribute.

apples and oranges .. Skyrim is an open world RPG where you build your character to your liking. ME3 is a combat heavy RPG that follows a cinematic, linear plot

To answer your question though, I was way more hyped for Skyrim. Its more my style of game

Hyped up more for Skyrim due timing of the last Elder Scroll game and the release date (closer to the holidays) but I can't wait for ME3 though.

Between it and a game that isn't out yet or it's the best RPG in general?

If you mean the latter, then The Witcher 2 says hello.

This.

ME 3 is least amount of an RPG you can have while still being an RPG.

I had 0 expectations for Skyrim. My experience with the Elder Scroll games was very limited. I only bought it after a couple of my employees highly recommended it to me.

ME3 is totally different. I've played the ME games from the start and have played ME1 and ME2 repeatedly. I am hyped as a crack addicted ferret for ME3. Almost guarranting some level of disappointment for myself.

I really dig skyrim and have been a fan of FPS in the past but have been getting really bored with them. that's why i liked skyrim so much. I never play a game like that.

would someone like me who is getting kinda bored with FPS like ME3? It is a typical FPS? I haven't played any of them.

The ME series is not like anything you have probably played before, I have played 1 and 2 at least three times through for each one.

1&2 don't have multiplayer, I think 3 has co-op.

There was a lot more time in between Elder Scroll games and Mass Effect games, so I was naturally more anxious for Skyrim. Still very pumped for ME3 though

Skyrim by far. I will get ME3 but I am not excited enough about it to have it absorb my soul like Skyrim did
