Skyrim Remastered

Just saw a video for Skyrim remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Is this real life? Also saw a feature for mods. I've been out of town and haven't really been keeping up with E3 or the E3 thread.
But if this is true, then:
I know Bethesda had the stage yesterday at E3

Free on PC if you own all the existing Skyrim content

sweet, and will buy for xbone
Bethesda promised us mods in their games, and they are delivering.

Interested to see what the PC graphics looks like. I would have preferred a Morrowind Remastered though, it would never happen.

Bethesda is going to take all my money

I wouldn't mind TES going back to Morrowind on their next title.
I keep hearing rumors of them going to Skyrim again and possibly Cyrodiil.
Personally, I'd rather a return to Cyrodil than Skyrim. Especially since the most recent game (besides ESO) was in Skyrim. I'd love to see Cyrodiil right after the oblivion crisis.
Can we all just agree that Bethesda is tGOAT. I've yet to be disappointed with the Fallout and/or Elder Scrolls series. and I really can't say that about any other company. Plus Quake makes a return

Naughty Dog?
Fallout 4 was pretty lackluster.

I hope they don't Skyrim-ify Morrowind. The dialogue and writing for that game are absolutely perfect

The base game was. With all the patches, DLCs and mods, I literally can't get enough of it. And there's still more to come.
I feel bad for all the people that jumped on the ES bandwagon for Skyrim. They didn't get to experience Oblivion. Which outside of graphics and physics, I preferred over Skyrim. The storylines of oblivion and Skyrim were amazing. I'm not going to compare that aspect of the game. But as far as all the factions, Oblivion takes the cake. I just felt as though they didn't focus enough on the factions for Skyrim. I felt like you did a handful of quests and you were suddenly the leader.
I might be wrong. I haven't played either game in a while. Imagine Oblivion with Skyrims graphics and physics

I prefer Oblivion due to the well developed character that Patrick Stewart voices.

I really wish they would remaster Oblivion. Some of the quest lines (Dark Brotherhood) were the best in the series.

I have almost 300 hours in Oblivion, except for closing all the damn portals I agree, I also liked the various "houses" you could upgrade.

With all of the remstering people have done to skyrim on pc, it would of made sense to remaster oblivion
But i think with skyrim being top3 in games people want to be on Xbox one, i think that pushed them to just remaster skyrim for consoles and pc.

I'm in the minority in that I didn't want The Elder Scrolls: Fallout, I wanted a sequel to Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. But, the game was executed well for what it was.
I have hundreds of hours into Oblivion (pretty sure 100% unmodded), plus a lot of hybrid time in Skyrim - probably more than Oblivion, so I give Bethesda GOAT props for this kind of game. And, FTR, I don't play 1st Person shooters or RTS games.

This.
Idk what I would do. I'd probably just spontaneously combust.

Would've preferred oblivion

While the Dark Brotherhood questline in Oblivion is tGOAT, have those of you praising Oblivion so much played Morrowind?
That game has the most interesting quests, factions, and world.

Well there went what little bit of life I had left.
Stoked.
Stoked.

Yes, but it's been a long while. You just reminded of how amazing that game was. Especially for its time. I might go replay it.
