If you're a console person and you haven't played it previously, it's 100% yes. I've put hundreds of hours into it both on the 360 and PC.
The price may drop faster for the special edition than a typical game though, so I'd keep that in mind.

If you had Skyrim on 360, yes. If you had it on ps3, definitely, as skyrim was broke as hell on ps3.

xbone mods up to 100 right now. and the creation kit just came out to many of the modders, yesterday.

I had never played an ES game before. I picked it up a few weeks after it released. I put so many hours into that game it was unreal. Im anxiuosly awaiting ES6.

Maybe I'm just getting older and gaming isn't the same for me or maybe the majority of games released today just aren't as good but, Skyrim and Oblivion I played relentlessly and still play often. Will no doubt be playing relentlessly again upon release

I didn't play Skyrim bc the ps3 version was broke and I never picked it back up after they patched it. I played the intro and the magic path about 10 hours a few months ago until I heard it was being remastered for the ps4.
I downloaded it last night, after I installed my SSD into my ps4 to make it faster. I think this game is going to suck me in for a month, I also got laid off today with severance so I'm going to spend a month in Skyrim with no worries

I feel like it's a great value proposition for people who have never played Skyrim (all 4 of you), but I don't know if I can justify paying $60 for this again but I want it.

From what I'm reading on PC, it's better to mod old skyrim. Down the road this will be better but for now it's nothing special.

It's not all that impressive for PC as there are graphics mods that look better than Special Edition.
