I want to get a 3DS to play as i'm about to start travelling a lot and I was wondering what the difference was? I sorta know about the C stick but I don't know if it will make that big of a difference. Also suggest some games.

There is very little support for it right now since it's new but if you are getting one then you might as well get the new one.

Get the new one. Nintendo has repeatedly said they are optimizing games for the N3DSXL from now on.

I just got a new one this month. It's build quality is better compared to my brother's old one and idk how people played games that require camera movement without the c stick. The 3D is actually usable and the screen is a little bigger.

Get the new one.

My son said that some of the new games coming out cannot be played on the 3DS XL only the NEW 3DS XL. The NEW 3DS XL will play them all.

Tank controls are awesome in the Resident Evil games.
