Should I buy Halo 5?

I'm considering getting Halo 5 on xbox one because I loved the first 4 halo games, but I've heard mixed reviews from the game. So I was just going to ask you guys if I should get it or not?

Story is meh, online is pretty good, but does not touch Halo 1/2/3 when it comes to strictly multiplayer. It actually just not even the same game.
Think Halo meets COD.
I personally played for a week and never touched it again, but I don't play multiplayer games nearly as much anymore. I would like to try and start playing again.

The loadout era hasn't been good for halo games. I wish they would have kept their original style.

Halo 5 is really solid. I hope soon they allow some forge maps in matchmaking. Would love to play lockout and stuff
