Should I buy a used PS4 or just spend the extra hundred on a new one?

I'd probably be buying one off Amazon as I have 250 total in gift cards there. They are from independent sellers, are they backed by any kind of Amazon warranty?
Or is the extra hundred bucks worth the peace of mind buying new? Any chance of a price drop for a new console anytime soon?

Buy new. $100 is totally worth it just for the manufacturer's warranty.

Definitely worth the extra hundred IMO. Even if the used one works perfectly now, most of these consoles eventually burn out so you might be risking years of use

I saw a deal the other day for new PS4 500gb with "the last of us" and a year sub to playstation plus for $399

Hmmm...I'm kinda stuck on Amazon since I've come up with $250 of gift cards there. Do they do decent deals often?

Doesn't look like that one comes with the year of online. Should I get Last of Us or wait a couple of weeks for Arkham Knight? I dont really know anything about either title.

The Last of Us is one of the best games ever made. The other arkham games were good so I would think this one would be as well. Can't go wrong

Thanks. Last of us is looking really good but you can find the codes cheap. Thinking about holding for the other but may get bored before. Is there a reasonable chance they drop in price or release a new model for e3 or is it safe to go ahead?

Not that anyone cares but I found a "like new" PS4 on Amazon that came with the cords and controller for 260 and it was shipped via Amazon distributors(Prime eligible). The seller had 100% positive feedback and it was by far the cheapest I've seen so I decided to snipe it.

Eh I doubt it but it was worth the 140 dollar discount. Hopefully I dont regret it later
