I don't really expect it to be that much better or worse than any of their previous iterations
Golf is definitely one game that you don't need to buy every year

Getting rid of loading holes is going to be awesome, and I am excited for the next gen graphics. Tiger woods always looked great, but on a PS4 exciting stuff.
I'm kinda tired of games right now too, last one I bought was Witcher and I can't get into it. Might trade that with a few other games I don't play and pick this up. Just hope it doesn't disappoint.

This supposedly isn't going to be a yearly release. So you might be waiting a while to get the next iteration unless you're holding out for The Golf Club 2 or something.

Huh, I had never heard of The Golf Club. Just watched the trailer though, it actually doesn't look that bad. Kinda blocky, and clunky but overall decent.

Well that's good to hear. Yeah I am worried about that. I always enjoyed the career mode though, so maybe that will keep it interesting.

I really don't understand why they have to have a name attached to it. They should just call it PGA Tour 2015, and put all their money and resources into it being a fricking awesome golf sim. Will they still have Augusta on it?
They should have damn near every course on the tour on the game. If they could put all college stadiums on a football game, then they can have all the courses. Or have them available as DLC.
BTW....The best golf console golf game was Lynks on the G1 Xbox. Best gameplay, best graphics at the time, and there was little to no fantasy made up bullshite like EA does.

I watched some of it on Twitch today. Graphics look awesome and gameplay is quick. Might have to pick it up. Just want to delve into career mode and makes the money!
