I hate this too. I focused on speed first and power second with my player. So when I'm on the bases with no one in front of me, it isn't too bad until I get to third base. I'm shooting for 100 SBs in a season. I was just short last year.

Bought a PS4 and the Show last week and I'm already into my sixth season. I started off with the Texas Rangers and was promoted to AA at the end of my first season and ended up spending my entire second season with the Round Rock Express, The Rangers AAA side.
I eventually got called up to the pros in my third year but BARELY played. I was getting so pissed off. I was only doing pinch hitting and I hated waiting for it to load to see possibly only one pitch and then the game end. I was eventually sent down to AAA again, but Arizona claimed me. I spend a year there and started but demanded a trade and ended up with Cleveland.
I started with the Indians for a few years and I'm now 24-years-old and an 89 overall. It's pretty fun now that my guy is actually good and plays almost every day. It does suck though because we haven't made the playoffs once in any of my time up during the entire season.
I haven't hit more than 25 home runs in a year yet though, hoping to be a 30-30 player this time around.
Oh also, I simulate fielding and only do base running when I'm the lead runner.

6 seasons already is kinda ridiculous bro
Even if some of them you didn't play a ton
I don't understand why they never put you in on defense after pinch hitting.
Have the virtual managers never heard of a frickin double switch?

I literally did nothing this weekend lol.
I don't play every game, I'll usually play 2-3 a week and then sim the rest. I also dislocated my ankle one year, and somehow missed 80% of the season. I think that may be one reason I'm not making the playoffs lol, so the season I just started I"m going to play 90% of the games myself.
The pinch hitting thing really ticks me off. I'll only ever play it if we're tied or down by a run and there's someone on base.

nothing worse than having a nice hit streak working only to get put in as a pinch hitter.

The empty stadiums are bothering me now. The Indians are 10 games over 500 and 2.5 back in the central and there are an average of 6 people per section in the outfield. This is some stupid shite.. What exactly determines crowd attendance in RTTS? Jeeeeez

Lol same. I play for Cleveland and our stadium was sold out on opening day and now we're in the third game of the year, we're 2-0, and the seats are empty again.

They made the playoffs in my sim and the last week the seats were empty. That shite is dumbfounding

One of the AA stadiums, Richmond's I think, every time I played a game there there was barely anyone in the stands, except for one section in the upper deck that was 100% packed

How many of the minor league stadiums are authentic?
I googled my home AA stadium and found it was real, though some of the views were embellished
But it seemed like when I played on the road and went to AAA that many of the stadiums repeated, or at least they were very similar

3B drafted 1-3 to the Rangers. I hit about .400 for the first 2-3 months in AA. The Rangers proceeded to fire sale everyone in the bigs: Prince, Beltre, etc. that lead to me getting the call up in June and becoming an everyday player in my first season.
Won ROTY, but we finished 40 games under .500. Now in my second season. I have the dynamic difficulty hitting on, but I'm not doing so hot. Hovering around .250. If we're more than 10 back in June I'm gonna start demanding a trade.

I feel like a lot of the transactions in the game are ridiculous. When On my Cleveland team our rotation has Strasburg, Jose Fernandez and some other random guy I've never heard of and they are all 90+ overalls.
Carlos Santana and myself were the only 80+ overall players on offense, but we did pick up Charlie Blackmon in the offseason and he's an 86. I'm praying to God we make the playoffs, if we don't I'm leaving.

The dynamic difficulty is pretty neat but on veteran I seem to hit almost too well
Once it bumps me to All-Star, I hit nothing but choppers and popups
I had to simulate base running. I loathe sitting there watching another guy foul off pitch after pitch
All of this

If you set the RTTS base running opportunities setting to lead runner and the RTTS CPU Teammate Hitting setting to Half it can really cut down on the amount of time you have to watch your teammates bat while on-base

Finished season 1 and hit decent in spring training
They kept me on the mlb roster and I start about every 3rd game
If I keep hitting ok, I may get more starts
Getting some starts at 3b, instead of my usual SS too

First MLB bomb....grand slam.
follow up with a 2-10 performance and sinking quickly. Had to turn it off last night.
Tried to stop guess pitching and not sure if it's helping or hurting

I don't know what it is, but I cannot catch up to the four-seamers. I still hit them, but they ALL are oppo hits. Just once I would like to turn on fastball, but I for some reason I can't. I guess I just suck.
