I turned on my xbox and it had 3 rings but i dont
really know how i got it because it worked last
night and it has not been touched since.
any one know how i got it and how to fix it?
I really dont want to send it off to get fixed.

You just have to blow inside the cartridge, inside where you put the game in, and maybe inside the controller port

I kid you not. Night of getting fricked up with the bro's. Come home to play a little xbox. Move it from my room to the living room. Bud says it would be funny if you got the red ring. So nuff i turned that bitch on and it was red. True Story.

I've used this method to fix a couple of xbox 360s and they are still working to this day. It's pretty easy to do, just follow the directions.

3. First Xbox lasted 8 mos. Second Xbox lasted 8 mos. Third Xbox lasted 4 years. I'm currently on #4.

i had the RROD once then bought an elite then bought the slim i still own all three the original was fixed by microsoft
