Yeah, just don't reformat the hard drive. Probably easier to use a USB drive.

Yeah I have a 2 TB external I use for extra hard drive space, but once I reformatted it for that I can't just load things on to it from my computer.
Before the plex app came out I used a small 32 GB USB drive to watch stuff from my computer.

You need the Xbox video app to do it. That's how mine streams but you also need the movie installed on your tablet / SD card.
