PS4 hard drive question

I want to upgrade to the 1tb hard drive, but how can I transfer over what I've already downloaded?

Imaging software but the issues is if Windows will recognize the software without reformatting it which would erase your data anyway.
By upgrade do you mean a bigger HDD or are you going to something stupid like UH did and putting in a hybrid drive that will barely, if any, benefit a gaming console?

It's actually a pretty decent improvement and they are about the same price, most sites recommend the same hybrid drive I used so FU.
And all of your stuff is in the cloud, just redownload it on new HDD.

You can buy a 1TB HDD for $39-$49 and the cheapest 1TB hybrid is going to be $99 so no they are not "about the same price: unless "about the same price" means double the price.

Actually, poor people are the people that waste money on unnecessary things. This is especially true when those things benefit them in no way like a Hybrid drive in a console.

The ps4 will format the hdd as soon as you install it. He won't be able to image the drive and install it without the system wiping it anyway.
