PS4 died on me

I've had the console for just under eleven months now. Yesterday, the thing just would not turn on. It would beep, go all blue light special for a moment then proceed to shut right back off. I started it in safe mode and tried to reconfigure the resolution settings, as an online thread recommended doing to try and fix the issue. Once I would so this, it would shut off and never restart. Sony is going to replace it, but I was just curious if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, were there any fixes available.

My son got a PS4 for Christmas. The second day it started getting an error code. Didn't matter which game he tried. I searched it up , everyone said go to safe mode to fix it. I did everything they said. But it never worked right, thankfully i got it from amazon. Had a replacement in 3 days. My other son got an Xbox one for Christmas. It has worked perfect.(Other than installing every friccken thing)

I haven't had any issues with the console itself. I just had some problems with the rubber on the control sticks rubbing off.

I had my PS4 for ...well since it came out. It only broke down once. All I did was contacted SOny and they sent me a new one.
Then I purposely broke it again the second time by tossing it on the ground. I called Sony said that it was sent to me broken. They sent me another one back.
Brand new.
Of course I had their extended warranty plan...

Wanted to test their "We'll fix it no matter the condition it was in. You could have it water logged and we'll fix it."
