Yeah but was reading that the original hard drives are assigned to that ps3 and the data won't transfer. Dunno

PS3 are made to where you cant switch hard drives without reformating. I just recenetly bought a new one after reflowing mine about every 15 hours of usage. The best way is to reball the processor, yet that will only be good for around 100 hours of play. So just go to a best buy or target, the best your going to get is 279 at the lowest.

Once i had enough i bought one. I reflowed my old one just to put the saved game data on a USB drive but my gosh damn power supply blew before i could get the data.
So my first playstation lasted for 4 years and the blue tooth card, power supply, and heat sink eventually failed.

Reballing? I read if I reflow it after I buy a new one I can connect them with an Ethernet and transfer. That's all out of my comfort zone though. I'll probably give it a shot once I have my new one.

i got one at best buy a couple months ago that came with a 160gb console, little big planet, mod nation racers and a blu ray movie for 350.
