Anyone else picked this up? This game is freaking incredible. I've never been this powerful in a game before and I love it. I was worried it might get old, but so far I'm loving it.
Saturday night, I started getting tired around 11pm. Put the game in figuring I was just mess around for a few minutes. Played for 5 hours without attempting even one mission. Just running around the city, killing everything in my path and powering up.

i found my comment coming off pretty bad,
The game is good but has sup-par graphics for this generation.

Its a deceptively very good game. It doesn't seem like it when you turn it on because the graphics are just so so (they aren't bad by any stretch but they do look a hair dated) but the action is very very fluid and you find yourself engrossed in it very quickly. For a sandbox game it is quite good.

I think they toned down the graphics so that performance isn't hurt.
GTA was very pretty (at least to me), but the screen would get choppy and slow if too much stuff was blowing up at once. That doesn't happen in Prototype.
I can see myself playing this game for a long time after I finish it. Even if it's just to put it in for an hour to blow off some steam.

i liked inFAMOUS better.
Both games are good though, and I haven't played much of prototype yet but the powers are badass.

Its a game where you can go wherever you want and do whatever you want. Most games you have to follow a certain sequence but with sandbox games its more open and you can choose what you want to do.

I finished inFAMOUS the other day and popped in prototype.

I finished the game, but didn't find all of the web people. I only got about 50% of them. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going back to find them. The backstory you got through them was cool, but there's so many of them.
I really enjoyed this game for what it was.
