was forced into a weekend shift managing analysts Saturday and Sunday. Have 2 comp days for that to burn in the next 2 weeks and I've still got 3 weeks of vacation to use this year.

My gamestop said they are gonna start lining people up at 11, and let people in the store in groups of 10 and everyone is assigned groups. I am in group 7 and they say each group should only take a few minutes. It sounds pretty efficient, but I can't even play that much tonight. If I can just go tomorrow I would much rather do that.

On the other hand, apparently microsoft is gonna be there and have xbones up and playable.

My inner grown up and child self are having a fist fight in my head and I am not sure who I want to win.

every serious girlfriend i've ever had eventually gives up on on giving me shite for video games.

when they are around, i spend time with them.

but when they aren't around they'd rather me playing COD/GTA/TigerWoods, than out getting drunk with my boys getting into trouble.

i also ensure early on in the dating process that they know i am a true nerd. my profession and non-active hobbies reflect that.

if that's a problem, then we aren't a match. because i love video games, love to read, and love watching History Channel and NatGeo.
