So I upgraded my Graphics card recently and seeing how I've been playing H1Z1 and Arma 3 recently. My old Processor is bottle necking me bad.
Can y'all give me some ideas of what processor/motherboard I should get. I'm not looking at getting too pricey.

ATM I have -Asus p7p55d-e pro Motherboard
Intel Core i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz

Upgraded my GPU to an EVGA 750ti FTW

Show me evidence of your processor bottlenecking with that 750 Ti, and I'll help.

H1Z1 is just poorly optimized in its early stage, my Fury X still dips between 40-50fps consistently while above 80 the rest of the time.

It's more Arma then H1Z1. With Arma 3, Everything is on Low/disabled and im getting tops 30 fps in towns. Just take my word for it. the processor I have is outdated.

I'm surprised you're getting that with that setup

Nah, just don't have the energy. OP is using a weak GPU with two terribly optimized games and wants to upgrade his CPU specifically. Hasn't yet provided any correlated GPU/CPU usage data, or info on game settings and resolution. Until I see that, there's not much more I can respond to, and the upgrade suggestion would be a $250-350 combo (some i5 and an H or Z mobo) anyway, as any less would yield only marginal single-threaded improvements. Seems an unlikely budget when OP only had a hundred bucks to spend on the GPU.

This thread is funny:

1: Ask for advice from the board with people that know their shite.
2: Tell them their advice is wrong.
3: Profit????

I didn't say their advice was wrong? No one gave me advice besides telling me that they don't believe what I am saying??
