There is a pretty regular DDOS attack every evening. There is literally nothing Blizzard can do about that.

Yea, I realize that. Just freaking frustrating because I finally had some free time to sit down play.

Seems to be working much better today. At least on some of my characters.

I'm finding leveling now a lot more relaxing than when I first leveled back in the day. Really enjoy seeing all the old stuff from past expansions

Wait what.... Last December I bought a WoW expansion because I was on my annual one month WoW kick and it was Legion? I figured this would be the next expansion but no they sold this shite months ago?

I sure wish the gear upgrades you get via quest rewards actually looked different. Every piece of gear I've gotten via a quest so far looks exactly like the last piece. I had the same issue with WoD.

I don't remember Pandaria, but I don't think BC, WoTLK, or Cataclysm were this way.

Yeah this game is frick up, I started a daemon hunter and after I got to Darnassus I don't have my tank talents.

--edit--

Oh I see the reset your talent bars, damn that is messed up, no wonder this game is losing players.

On one hand, they make it so easy to swap out specs and talents yet they have a feature like Artifact weapons that punish players who like to enjoy multiple playstyles with twice the grind. Also, I know you can transmog weapons into whatever you like, but we like getting weapon upgrades same as we do gear upgrades. Who thinks we just want to continue upgrading the same weapon over and over through the course of an expansion?

I do, I enjoy having one kick arse doom hammer . I like the class halls and I like the questing and I like the world quest and I like the mythic + Diablo style 5man that you can get end game gear in. The fact the you can do a very lore rich quest for every spec in the game is awesome to me and most friends I play with.

I like the Karazhan revamp coming in 7.1 and like that they have multi tiered patches already planned with more 5man and raid content .

I enjoy the new pvp only talents and the prestige system and like that you don't need seperate gear to pvp at all.

I enjoy that blizzard finally said "frick making every class the same, let's add some differences and let people play something a bit more unique "

/fanboy rant over

Do wish you guys were enjoying it like I, hit me up on horde side anytime

Now that it seems most of the bugs have been worked out, I've really been enjoying playing it so far.

Still getting used to the whole artifact.

Made it to 102 and have all three of my relics. I saved my relic upgrades until I got the BM gun for the hunter. It's been fun but it's what I remembered WoW to be and I will not play beyond my month subscription. I do this once a year for both EQ and WoW.

I was in Hungary on business for the release so Saturday was the first I could get in. I have my DK up to 107 right now and have been pleasantly surprised. There is a LOT of leveling content, more than the last few expansions and it feels much more fleshed out prior to end game. gives me the same feeling as wrath. I'm excited to see how the post 110 game is.

I enjoy the artifact weapon system, but like a previous poster I am concerned with how I will level up my tank spec weapon. artifact power items and relics better flow from the class order missions like a mother fricker. Also dismayed that there appears to be max about 10-12 followers, but all the missions I am seeing so far are three follower missions. Really limits how quickly you can farm them. I will be dismayed if it is as hard to get my offspec weapon leveled up as it appears to be. I wish it could just eat souls like Shadowmourne to level up.

All in all I've been really enjoying it.

I think people are agonizing a bit too much about the Off-Spec Artifact issue. We are only now seeing the effect of Artifact Knowledge kick in (the first Artifact Knowledge bumps AP gain by 25%), which means that it is going to become easier and easier to level up your artifacts.

Further past the first gold trait or two the bonuses aren't that crazy. Sure it will be a pain for super tight gear check progression raiding, but I am not sure it will impair most players.

Artifact weapons are a symptom of Blizzard devs having no clear long term vision for this game. Over the years, they have simplified talent builds to where now it's just a matter of picking 1 of 3 abilities every few levels instead of putting points into a skill tree. Now they add skill trees back with the Artifact weapons.

Same thing with the Hunter class in Cataclysm which did away with melee weapons only to bring back a melee only spec with Legion.

I'm enjoying this expansion, but thus far, it doesn't feel different from the honeymoon phase of WoD. Some problems I have aside from Artifact weapons are the zones themselves. They feel small. They're too densely packed with all kinds of things above and below other things which makes navigating to quest updates a pain. They also feel linear and less wide open.

Dalaran is a nice nostalgia trip but it's a sign that Blizzard is running out of ideas and are too lazy to develop a brand new neutral faction hub instead of copy/pasting Dalaran into Legion. It's also a bad sign of the game's age where we're playing for the enjoyment of nostalgia as opposed to looking into the future.

I find a lot of the quests annoying. A lot of the special mobs you kill for quests I'll say good luck to you if you come into the game late after everyone has moved away from the leveling zones.

Class Halls are just Garrisons 2.0. Class Hall/Garrison is just a bad concept like getting rid of the Start Menu with windows 8 and 8.1. You can release a new version to improve upon it but it doesn't change the fact that the fundamental concept is bad and you're just putting lipstick on a pig.

Well I'm not sure you can ever really say that the talent trees were complicated. Having 50 points to spend is great, but if you have options as to three or four points (after the mandatory talents) then what is the point? FWIW quite a few classes now have actual decisions to make on which talents to take for different circumstances.

Well until Legion they were just stat sticks you never used. I don't think it says anything more than the devs are doing what they can to make every part of the game impactful.

7.1 will be the true test. WoD's content patches were arse.

I think Class Halls strike a nice balance. I get why some hate them though.

I played Original, dropped after BC, came back midway through WotLK, then loved Cata (especially the hardness of the dungeons) up until they released the raid finder. Tried again late into Panda, liked the first two areas and the raids (since Orgymar Raid was actually hard). But pretty much gave up after realizing I wasn't getting anywhere in the forest level of WoD.

So is the game worth giving a poke?
