Please help me settle an argument about GTAV with my teenager

My kid is a 15 year old gamer. I've allowed M rated games such as Call of Duty, Far Cry 4, and Dying Light. I've always been against GTA because you get points for killing cops and civilians. He says GTAV is not as bad as the previous games. I have no idea but I'm certain this board can help steer me right.

GTA V is by far the worst GTA game when it comes to violence and profanity. More violence, more cussing, more nudity, more drugs. So show your 15 year old this post.

Worse than the previous games in terms of that. With that said some 15 year olds could handle it and others could not. You get to make that decision, not him.

refer to the previous thread on this. id let him play it. he will no matter what. there is nothing he will learn in the next 2 years that will all of a sudden make him mature enough to play it.

I would use the same arguments on my parents at that age. They didn't have the luxury of asking people on a forum

My parents wouldn't let me play GTA games until I was 17 or so. They were so strict about what games I played, I would still feel guilty when playing it when they allowed it.

I played GTA3 when I was 16. That's not the same situation though. I understand why a parent would not allow their kid too.
