You can get 780s for 419 at EVGA's B stock.
Your getting 800 more cores and higher bandwidth they are easily worth the price.

It makes the envoriment feel alive and not just a painting.
My favorite part is shooting up things, PhysX makes let's you make a mess.

Thanks for the info. I've been so long without a decent gaming PC, playing in 1440 might make me poop myself. Didn't know if it would really be worth it, but I'll look into those $419 780's,. Just did my taxes so hopefully I'll be ordering all my parts by the end of the week.

Taxes returns are taking longer to receive this year.
Did mean around January 28 and don't expect my return until February 18th. However, this year I did rack up on tax credits, those returns do take longer.

I'm not getting much this year but i am getting a shite ton of overtime right now so I can upgrade if i see a deal worth it. Without any new games coming out I don't have anything to push my gpu enough though

I got to deduct most of the $7k+ I spent on daycare last year, plus the child tax credit, and dependent exemption.
Going to be an even bigger refund next year with two kids. Never changed my filing status/exemptions for my paychecks. I know you shouldn't let the government hold your money, but I enjoy the massive refunds. I used to spend them on nice things.
