Did you get an ssd? If so it makes this process so much better when you are restarting and updating. Congrats on your build

I couldn't afford one because of my budget, but that'll be one of my first upgrades.

Just played Hotline Miami for a little bit. M+K controls are hard as hell to get used to when I've been playing with a controller my entire life.

Yeah I have one as well, but I need to try to get used to playing M+K first. Don't know how long it will take.

Good idea. I have yet to buy a controller and I've played quite a few PC games. Even the batman games, sleeping dogs, mortal kombat, street fighter, etc. I played with mouse and keyboard.

The key mappings aren't bad. Basically, I just mapped the punches and kicks to multiple keys on the righthand side so that I don't repeatedly tap a key that doesn't do anything. It's easier for me having not even held a console controller in over 5 years, except for the Wii with my nephews sometimes, and guitar hero.

Here's a decent summation:

- We showed off our builds and circle jerked

- Several people asked for help with new builds throughout the life of the entire thread.

- Parts exchanges and giveaways among members

- Stout bought some fancy equipment and started repairing broken PC components and reselling for profit

- Lots of links to deals on various parts

- People upgraded some of their hardware.

- I chronicled my first venture into delidding via my new 4770k.

- News about upcoming platforms and performance benchmarks all throughout the thread.

- Coyote disappeared for a couple of weeks after shipping stout a free case and a few mystery extras. Turns out he was sick. He was cured after he flew in a team of the finest doctors from all over the world to nurse him back to health as he played Far Cry 3 in his 24k gold computer chair.

- He reemerged just in time for Stout to unexpectedly receive damn near a full build worth of parts along with the free case.

And here we are!

Anyone know how to keep a wireless router from dropping connection? I've been having problems with it and today it's dropped connection 3 times.
