I always buy/sell my PC stuff on Craigslist. It's just been a long time since I've last bought something, so I'm not familiar with prices anymore

Totally fine. No more helmet, finally showing signs that he'll be walking soon (lots of cruising, plus intermittently standing unassisted for a few seconds at a time).

What about your daughter? In the clear yet?

We had our checkup in June when he told us not to come back for 4 months which was awesome. She still has a slight blockage which may have to be ballooned again later in childhood but for now we are good. She turns 9 months in about a week, crawling, standing, and saying "dada"

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PC Version Is "Stunning," Konami Says

quote:

"The PC version is stunning," Edwards told MCV. "We are so pleased to be able to release it alongside the console games, and that Kojima Productions has worked so hard to make it such a strong version."

Nvidia sure is fricking up DX12, that post is gold and kudos to the developers for not backing down from green and going public about it.

Ooh. Nvidia gonna Nvidia.

This is going to be an interesting battle over the next 6-12 months, interesting enough that I'm still not going to get a gsync monitor just yet.

In what context? It's the best CPU for the price, for sure, and a popular budget chip for overclocking. It's something I'd put in a <$500 gaming build.

Something to play around with say with SteamOS or Ubuntu.

Idk, seems like a cool little CPU for $60

ILike - you know the freesync Samsung U28E590D you turned me onto? Even with the old rig (still waiting on an i7) it looks amazing.

It was a steal at $499. I can't see how Nvidia competes on price. By the time I get an i7 - the R9 Nano will be an option.

Even though I'm not really going to tax the setup until the next Elder Scrolls - I'm excited. I've always been too cheap/too broke to be anywhere near the cutting edge.

This right here.

It looks like the skylake i7s are coming out ILove. They are in the parts list at pcpartspicker now. $369 isn't that bad for an i7.

Something like this would be cool

But 2900$? Eh no.

$2000 less and not on the bleeding edge, maybe this would work? LINK
Aand tech forums say that CPU can be overclocked to 4.39GHZ @1.2 volts

You can nix half the RAM. That CPU probably isn't going to allow you to be in any scenario in which you'd use more than 8GB.

And that liquid cooler is a POS for the price. The Hyper 212 would do just as well as the H55, and any air cooler of the same price as the H55 would outperform it in cooling and noise.
