They need Gen 2 to come out and fix some shite like evolved versions give more candy when caught/transferred. My life is about to get much busier so will now only play in certain high-catch situations and will pick back up when Gen 2 comes out.

I've evolved three Gyrados; all with twister

I evolved a 145cp 91iv Magikarp and now it's a 1521cp Gyarados with Dragon Breath 6 and Dragon Pulse 65. I'm back up to 108 candies but I don't know that grind is rough. If I get shat on again I may quit chasing Gyarados.

CP121 Caterpie breaks out of 7 balls. I'm at Level 21. That's just freaking ridiculous. I never get Ultraballs any more either. I might get 1 out of 20-30 Pokestops.

It's par for the course for me because I hit the LSU lakes often and the Magikarp are plentiful

The questions are when is this going live and what are the candy details and limits per day? This could be a good incentive but if you can only get 3 candies per 10k or per day that's going to suck.

Need to wait till level 25+, you start seeing them 170 plus range. These mostly evolve to 2k+

We went to Navarre for the holiday weekend and holy hell was it amazing for Pokemon hunting. The area surrounding our condo was just spawning everything. I went with 99 in my Pokedex and I came home with 119. I saw stuff that I have never seen in Baton Rouge and got enough to evolve them. It made me realize what a shite-hole Baton Rouge is for Pokemon playing. All the best stuff I have gotten here came out of an egg. Hoping to go back for Thanksgiving or Christmas and rack up again.
Things I caught for the first time while there, all of these in the wild, none from eggs:
Drowzee
Alakazam (!!)
Slowbro (!!)
Magnemite
Omanyte
Hitmonlee
Hitmonchan
Porygon
Shellder
I also evolved to these:
Sandslash
Cloyster
Nidoqueen
Nidoking
Vileplume

I got enough Pikachu while there to evolve to Raichu within 3 days. When I got to Florida I had only ever gotten 2 Pikachu. One in an egg and only one in the wild that came from a lure. I could have probably continued playing for a year before I finally got 50 candies but 3 days in Navarre and it was done. By the end of the trip I was not even catching Pikachu anymore.

Same thing when I went to Destin. Lots of Growlithe, Ponytas, Seel, Shellder, Omanyte, Ghastly, Drowzee, Sand shrews, Dratini, and such but I kept running out of poke balls even though I took over 250 with me. Now that I am back home in Shreveport, I can't find most of them to evolve.

There were plenty in destin. In Shreveport very random. I have gotten two in eggs though.

A lot of pokemon spawn primarily in certain areas. I've caught two and one time it was near the LSU lakes and the other was near Hollywood Casino (on the Mississippi). Also the only place I've caught slowpokes.
