I can't contain myself for this game anymore. I just went and pre-ordered the limited edition.
Let's check out the new trailers. The 4 pillars combined into one video: (these are the newest trailers, released yesterday)

I honestly haven't been hyped for a game this much in a long time.
Here's a funny rapid fire interview with the creator and co-founder of Hello Games: Sean Murray. This is from a year ago so some of the content has changed since.

I was pretty excited for this one.
But now I am in wait and see mode.
I hope I am wrong but I have a bad feeling this is just not going to live up to the hype.

After watching gameplay and the like, I'm not really sure what you actually do besides just walk and fly around to various planets that look like cartoons

Haven't people been downplaying it for the past year or more though? How much hype can it have when it seems the general consensus behind it is "not going to be great".
