Who will be picking this up on 3ds Friday? I'm going before work to pick it up myself.

Also, will this be the first time you play this?

My best advice is don't expect Ocarina of Time or really a Zelda game in general. More think of it as Groundhog's Day meets the Apocalypse. The genius behind the game is in it's simplicity in the 3 Day Cycle, and there has never been a game like it before or since. I think it is the most apocalyptic game of all time and debatably the darkest (certainly the darkest game ever made by Nintendo). If you appreciate the tone, themes, and story of video games, I don't see how this game can't be one of everyone's favorites.

I'd like to add that you need to go for the 100% in this game... Don't be afraid to use some walkthroughs as there are some tough things to figure out.

Amazingly fun game. My favorite Zelda ever.. even more than OOT or LttP

Link should bang Kafei's wife as a parting present to Termina.

If you want to get all the masks and completely beat the game, you have to use a walkthrough.

Some of them are just too damn tough.

Great advice. I expected typical zelda when it came out and didn't like it or finish it because of that. That's why I'm so excited to try it again.

There's really a lot more I think they can do with the masks and the 3 Day Cycle. Seriously, there is no other game like this in existence, and really the only way to do it is to remake it in some form. Adding a Mogma and Rito transformation mask and adding 4 new lands in the NE, NW, SE, and SW would be the way to remake this, as well as maybe adding 3 more Anju/Kafei level side-quests, then you have a hell of a remake on your hands. Wish this was coming to Wii U as well.

Nintendo seems to be making zelda remakes more lately so I would be twilight princess is next if anything.

There's a rumor that they are porting it to the 3DS which I hope doesn't happen because that game's graphics need to be done justice. An alternate ending would be nice too

I haven't heard that and it honestly doesn't sound likely to me. If they do it I wouldn't expect it until 2016 anyway.

I like what they did with a link between worlds being a spiritual sequel to link to the past. I wouldn't mind a sequel like that to zelda 2 since it was so different.

The "walkthrough" moments from N64 majora's mask are a thing of the past I believe.

I remember reading an article a few months ago about how nintendo is improving the bomber's notebook for the 3ds version so a walkthrough won't be required.

I thought the ending of Twilight Princess was awesome.

A great bitter sweet send off.
