It's the support's job to know when to go ham and when not to. I'm not taking a hook unless I know it's a kill. If I hook someone and it's an iffy fight, I'll just let the hook do it's thing and hope the adc gets harass down. If they're 1/3 health and that hook hits, it's party time and you better be ready.

As it should be.
Recently, every support I've had thinks any hook/cc/etc landed means an all in do or die fight. Just doesn't fly with me. If we're unsure we'll come out ahead, stay put and wait for them to frick up.
Otherwise, I'm gonna farm, poke and wait for them to frick up and get stupid.

Needed 1 win to finally get back into a promo series for Bronze I.
Instead I end up carrying a team as Nasus and lose because a complete idiot picks Kog ADC and has no fricking idea how to play. EVERY team fight, he gets caught in front and dies first.

Won a doom bots 5 game and holy frick some of those bots are ridiculous. The 27 kill zyra had
1. Eve's passive
2. Swain Birds that healed and feared
3. Plants spawning 6 at a time randomly around her.

Because she wasn't. She got buffed the same patch they changed all the adc items, which also buffed her.

Lmao B4 when you get B5 trolls and still win is hilarious.
49-28 other team, teemo at start of game says "I roam" so we had no top, and then Morgana support got mad about that and fed the other team to the tune of about 1/30 and we still win because Xin got fed.
The other teams messages as we were taking the nexus.

Her early game is actually ok. It's her midgame that is absolute garbage.

I've never really had an issue with it for some reason.
If I go Botrk first, then there is a massive lull where you have comparatively little AD, but I've started going IE first with her to avoid that.
I know her Q can allow you to go for a 2nd damage item (over a PD/shiv) initially, but what do you build on her?
I've just gone with the standard IE/Shiv build, but I may try going IE/Botrk and see how that works.

Shiv, IE, LW, Bloodthirster should be your core every time with Trist.

Yeah listen to the bronze 4. 
ETA: In all seriousness, IE and Shiv are pretty core. LW and BT aren't really core, but they are common. Some people replace LW with PD and replace BT with BotRK.

No build with the new updates I've seen sub out BT, the lifesteal buff is too nice on her with attack speed and her Q.

I generally go IE then shiv. With her Q steroid, should I be going IE, then maybe Botrk or another damage item, THEN PD/shiv?
