Just got out of a ranked game with a guy that only knew how to play 2 champs. He was last pick and didn't get mid so he couldn't play either one of them. He doesn't tell us he only knows how to play 2 champs until we get in the game. He gets stuck with adc as ez, has 30 farm at 15 minutes and goes 4/7. Our Zac is 3/8 and ganks mid zero times. I'm not mad about that because I'm still wrecking Veigar and have double his farm. Veigar gets smart and starts roaming the opposite lane I go to and gets 4 kills off of it, but still loses 1v1 to me every time we meet. I start trying to split push but my team doesn't get the concept that you don't want to engage the fight until the split push draws someone or more than one person away from the fight. They don't have anyone that can deal with me 1v1 so they would have had to send 2 people to stop the push. Nope. As soon as I get to the lane to split push Zac jumps into the middle of all 5 of them and starts a fight. The team gets exploded. I still get a tower. I figure they don't have the game knowledge to have me split push again without derping all over again, so I drop that idea and start helping them fight. But our ez does nothing in a team fight. Literally just runs away in the back the whole time. 11 kills and over 300 farm with Zed and still can't carry because of the lack of game knowledge as a whole on the team. You will never convince me that once you get to a certain elo, no matter how skilled you are, the games get significantly harder to win. I destroyed my lane, warded river, roamed to both lanes to help out, split pushed, and joined for team fights. Did literally everything I could do. There are some teams you just can't win with.

Looks like someone can only play 2 champions.

I'm consistently in the top 1-2 CS players in my soloQ games. And now that I've focused on not getting killed, my K-D ratio is great. So, I feel like I'm becoming a valuable member of my teams. I kinda wait to see what everyone is picking... and I'll take what's left (top, mid, etc). I get well rounded and have fun doing different stuff.

But my games seem to go one of two ways, complete snowball and the other team surrenders at 20:00, or my team gets crushed b/c they rack up a ton of deaths.
I assume that in SoloQ you get paired with people around your level. So, why do these games get so one-sided?

I've thought about this and have a theory that in low elo games, players arent as good as coming back once they get behind.

you see in pro and high elo games, people get shite on in lane and still are only behind like 30 cs sometimes.

liftlift sometimes has most CS in the game after losing lane, lol.

so anyway, once a team gets a lead, it just snowballs because people can't deal with it.

there are exceptions ofc but this is a theory.

I agree. I've seen entire teams be on tilt after laning phase. Hell, in a game I won yesterday our jungler was completely on tilt even though we were up 3 towers and 2 kills. It takes next to nothing for people to give up at this level.

In norms you're probably running into similar situations that UH and I have been running the last couple of nights. A sub-30 playing with someone who's played a while. Even when it's not that, this game doesn't discourage smurfing so there are a billion of them. On the account that is my main now, while I was leveling up to 30, I was literally averaging 30-40 kills a game. Sometimes you get matched up with smurfs. It sucks when they are on the other team, but it's great when you get one on your team. The skill level of players will always be skewed a bit in normals.

Alright got my 13000 RP. Signed up for the card Here(it is not a credit card). When you sign up you get 1k RP. To get the 10k RP you have to direct deposit 20$ to the card from a bank account but there's a work around. Just take the account # and routing number from your serve card (in your serve online account go to account privileges, then Go to Direct Deposit), add the serve card to your paypal as a bank account, then transfer 20$ from your bank account to the serve card through paypal. Congrats you got ~100$ worth of RP for 20 bucks. Buy 10 2$ amazon gift cards to get more RP, then never use the card again.

Sounds complicated. How much time did this take?
Any impacts on credit?

Yea it's kind of a pain to do it that way but i didn't want to link the card to my actual bank account. No impact on credit that i've noticed. It's a prepaid card that you can load/unload with cash and use like a debit card, not a credit card. The rewards for using it are pretty shitty after you get the 13000 RP so i won't be using it anymore. All in all, it took about a full business week for all the transfers to go through.

The twitch stream is overloaded. I can't even watch it without lag every 2-3 seconds. 411k viewers right now just on Twitch.

ETA: Azubu stream is lag free.

I always used Azubu, never had any lag or issues with them compared to twitch which always lags it seems.

I've never had lag issues with twitch, but half a million people are trying to watch the same stream. It's just not gonna hold.

Outside of top lane, Royal got everything they could have wanted. Their teamfight is insanely deadly.
