SKT with their first 0-2 week in a year following that bad showing at RR.
Huni got benched, but Untara went 0/5/0 in his spot.
Peanut got benched, lost with Blank. Put Peanut back in for next series, still struggling and they lose again.
This may be the first time in years Worlds is actually wide open. Huni and Peanut just aren't very good, and really haven't been for awhile.

No clue I never take previous seasons into account. Just changes too much.
SKT simply doesn't have the best players in LCK anymore, wasn't really ever that way. Huni is mediocre as is Peanut. Blank may turn it on late and usually does so we're talking maybe lose in finals or semis if say SSG or KTR or maybe WE.
Faker isn't near as dominant anymore either, not even close.

I still wouldn't pick anyone over them either. Too easy to be safe and default to them with the odds.

Yes, that was last season. Seems like it was longer ago, doesn't it?
Summer 2016 SKT finished 2nd in LCK regular season and 3rd in the playoffs. They entered worlds as the 2nd seed from Korea on points and we all know what happened after that.
Side note: when SKT qualified on points in 2016 it was the first time the reigning world champion had ever made it to worlds the following year.

To be fair, the semis and finals against rox and ssg both went to 5 games and were close series.
