That 21:30 first tower... slowest game I've been a part of in awhile... they kept ganking bot, it was pretty funny

I've never gotten a kill as Leo I don't think... especially not early

Been reading reddit this morning. Holy shite what happened?
People are losing their minds over some changes to the queue system?
I haven't played league since the Overwatch beta (and the official release back on the 23rd) with the exception of the weekend URF was out.
I see pros complaining and even Doublelift has said he is quitting ranked until they fix it.
Can someone explain what is happening and why people are up in arms?

Match making for high elo (chlgr,master,high daimond) took a long time.
To make it go faster they made autofil, where you would get put into a position other than the two you picked. (You select top/jg, get support) they don't like this because high elo player only want to play their main role.
High elo players are also being match with lower elo player to lower queue times. They don't like this either.
Lots of people still want soloq. Riot said not coming back.
Most of this only seems to be a problem to high elo players. I haven't really noticed a difference, and don't really care too much. Only thing I want them to balance is playing on a team of randoms against a pre-made 3+,which seems to happen to me kinda often.

I think this might be something going on
I also read that the new matchmaking que can also put Challenger / Master tier players against Diamond and Plat players... which ends up being extremely extremely bad for the Diamond and Plat players
It really hasn't effect the majority of players... who are S-G

I'm still a bit wary. Even if it doesn't affect lower tiear players directly, it could win up affecting them indirectly.
Video games go as the pro/competitive scene goes. If pros start becoming pissed and the competitive scene takes a hit, it could be a long term negative for the game.

I think Rito fixes this pretty quickly now tbh... I just hope they don't screw up lower elo in the process, I've actually enjoyed rank this season

I don't understand why they keep trying to make massive changes.
Teambuilder was great for casual play. The queue where you can pick 2 roles to play (no auto fill) was great for ranked.
Ranked 5's was fine.
They've been improving the game, but I feel like they are also just making changes for the sake of making changes without thinking about repercussions.
I wasn't a fan of it. The champ select was fine, but the skill disparity and massive increase in toxcity was extremely noticeable, imo.
I had more fun in ranked in seasons 4 & 5. Season 6 was miserable.

I'm also in bronze, I've heard a lot of older players got placed in bronze and have finally been working their way out of it. When you were doing Ranked, most of the Silver players were probably older Gold players, frustrated with being in Silver, and brand new players who tend to be toxic children..
iono though, my own experience is that Bronze 2 & 1 have been extremely awesome and way less toxic
(as an example... my experience when I que with Lebron has been getting better and better with every week that passes, but it's still a little worse than when I'm just que'ing solo)

TSM has hired Weldon on as full-time member of the coaching staff. Paid for him and his family to move to LA. They're also in talks with Liquid to acquire Dardoch for the forming of a Challenger team. Regi is on the prowl hardcore.

I always figured these kids were pretty wealthy (likely from parents), but damn I didn't realize they had THIS much money (or that owners made that much money off the brand)
Pretty bad arse life.
